01 — About

Medicine, explained well

I graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine in 2023 and went straight into the pharmaceutical industry, on the medical side. It has been challenging and eye-opening: it shows you healthcare from an angle most doctors never see.

My job is to make sure what a company says about its medicines is accurate. I follow the literature, brief the teams on what is new, train medical representatives, and present to healthcare professionals across the country — in hospital clinics and at table-top meetings.

I am outgoing, curious and I like keeping up with where medicine is going. Outside work you will usually find me on a plane, eating my way through a new city.

    Medical support for the cardiology portfolio of Menarini, one of the largest privately owned pharmaceutical groups in Europe.

  2. Oct 2023 — Oct 2024 · Istanbul

    Diabetes · Gastroenterology

    Medical Manager at Bilim Pharmaceuticals

    Worked across the teams in charge of a DPP-4 inhibitor in diabetes, and 5-ASA and pinaverium bromide in gastroenterology.

    • Medical consultant to the teams: followed the latest publications and kept everyone up to date.
    • Made sure everything the team published about the products was accurate and reliable.
    • Trained the medical representatives on the science behind the products.
    • Travelled across Türkiye to present to healthcare professionals, at table-top meetings and in presentations.
    • Worked closely with marketing on how the medical message is built.
